This property was fantastic. We have been visiting the area for over 10 yeaes as a group of 6+ and this was our best experience for sure. The house is well equiped for entertaining with a stunning outdoor sitting area. And fantastic kitchen dining area. With a tone of history anf character. We will be booking it every year.

Air conditioning

This is a large house which we were looking for. It was very clean. The only complaint we had was about the air conditioning. It has three floors. The top floor has no air conditioning. The second floor was extremely hot and the first floor when the air conditioner was on cool. The host has the air conditioner pre set at 24 So even if you turn the temp down it reverts back to 24 at pre set times. There were no instructions provided to change the settings. In fact it was so hot we had to contact and ask her to have someone fix the air conditioner because we thought it was broken. No air was coming from the vents! It happened to be during a very hot spell which made it worse. Everything else was fine. The host responded in a timely manner and we were able to arrive an hour earlier.

A well thought-out space for everyone

We had a group of 14 and there was enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Great communication and easy check in. Only a 10 minute drive to town. The hot tub and fire pit were nice amenities, and the kitchen was well stocked. If you have a large group, I would highly recommend staying here!

stunning property in the mountains

Ten of us gathered here from different parts of the world and it was a lovely time for all. The bedrooms upstairs are far away from any noise in the kitchen and living rooms so everyone could enjoy themselves without bothering others. We all appreciated the extra touches we found in the property: hot tub sandals, premium toiletries, and a popcorn machine! The communication with the host was really professional and they stayed close to our needs. We felt taken care of during and after the stay when we had a few issues with items forgotten in the property. We would like to visit again!
