The cabin on the lake Retreat of Steinhatchee is part of a collection of 3 of the best rentals in Steinhatchee! The gorgeous cabin will sleep a mix of 7 adults and children. The private lake is a fantastic Retreat for the family! We recently added a screened in outdoor dining area adjacent to a new "beach" area. The lake is clean and spring-fed and is stocked with many species of freshwater fish. The lake is also a fantastic place for entertaining and for the kids to play and swim. There are many kayaks and Float toys available as well as a paddle boat. The Pontoon party barge is a fantastic place for an evening cocktail with your closest friends and family! Do not miss this rental it is extremely close to Sea Hag yet as private as can be. Located on a private dead end property surrounded by gorgeous hardwood trees in the back in the lake in the front. This cabin will sleep up to 7 guests (mix of adults and children) and has everything you need.

Nice and quiet location to relax and escape the crowds during scallop season, but close enough to get involved with the crowds if you want to. Very close to ramp and Sea Hag Marina.

All you need!
The property was clean and extremely convenient for getting to the marinas. All you need for a weekend of scalloping! The only thing off is the description of the number of beds. There are 2 rooms each with a queen/double bed. No twin beds like in the pictures and certainly not 12 twin beds like it says in the description (which I thought was a typo). We did just fine using the couch and an air mattress! The host was very quick to answer any emails or questions!

A wonderful experience and stay
I stayed at this cabin with 2 friends and we had another party at the cabin closest to the "beach". It was so much fun! Everything was super clean, the lake was awesome and the cabins were a quick trip to anything you would need. We will definitely be coming back!

The Cabin
The cabin advertised 2 bathrooms but it only had 1. Also the outdoor chairs were broken and not stable to sit in. The place was very clean! Amd a wonderful location. We made due with one bathroom but with 2 couples it would have been much better with2 bathrooms.
