Firstly I’d like to say the staff were very nice and helpful. However, other than that, the stay was frankly terrible. Starting off it is far from the temples you need to get transport in. Granted, the staff can arrange it, it’s just not ideal. Secondly the room had mould, cockroaches, ants, no towels, no flushing toilet, shower stank, a constant drip on the balcony so when u sit down at the table you get splashed. There was no wifi in the room despite advertised and we asked for 2 single beds got a double, and the staff were unable to fix this. Last but definitely not least when my father went out of the room to get towels in the morning (which should have been in the room) he got bit by a dog on the arm. It caused a wound which stained his shirt. We left after one night.

Honest review

This is a very honest review of the hotel. Please keep in mind that it is very cheap. If you are looking for a cheap night, you might be perfectly happy here. If we had known the following before, we would not have booked. I can only assume that the other reviewers had a better experience but have to wonder if they are actual reviews. 1. The property is not in town. It is not a good location and the map on hotels.com has the wrong place. It is 1.5km north of town and you will need transportation. It is not easy to find transport once at the hotel so make sure you organise this in town or risk walking. 2. There is no Wi-Fi despite being advertised 3. Our room was outdated and dirty. There were bugs in the bathroom and what looked like rodent droppings all over the room. The bed was clean and comfortable enough though. Again, if you are happy with having a low price you might be absolutely fine here. We did not leave as we only stayed one night and arrived late. 3. There were no towels or toilet paper. The staff of the hotel, who seemed nice, went to the local market to get toilet paper for us. 4. It was impossible to find anyone on reception. I had to bother other guests twice to call them. When speaking with them they were very helpful and tried hard to support. Again, I cannot stress enough that this might not bother you. The price is cheap and I am not complaining. However, we based our decision to stay here on other reviews which are misleading.

Get what you pay for.

Bargain place with bargain service. No top sheet just a duvet that I really hope they change the cover on between guest. Regardless the cover of my duvt was badly stained. They didn't have secure storage for your bags after their early 10am checkout. Guy just had me leave it sitting in the middle of the lobby. Thankfully I didn't have any problems.

Great memories in Khajuraho

It was great staying there. The shower room was cleaner than i expected. The location was really nice. So i could easily go to the western group of temples. And it is so close to a lake. I used to see the sunset at the lake. Most of all, all the staff are so kind. Even thought i spent to tiring day, they always welcomed me with the smiley faces. And i will never forget a staff named ashish. He is really cool. I am so happy that i could meet the good friend there.
