I want to start with the very positive notes of our stay . Off road parking , excellent location - easily walk able to town within 15 mins via the canal route , quiet area & communication . All of these are 10/10 for this listing . Equally so was the price for a race weekend in Chester it was exceptional we have often payed a significant amount more! There were a few elements that let this property down which is a pity as the potential is huge for 5* ratings ! The over all cleanliness was average …. A lot of dust , grimey surfaces and the toilet was not clean . The bed is small double at a push 🫣 I mean for somebody’s whose husband snores there was nearly murder ! The crockery , utensils etc were not great …. Very fixable with a wee dunelm or Ikea shop! There is no air con which I guessed so we brought a fan ! No probs ! Internet didn’t work but by the time we figured this it was too late to contact them , we had our own with us so we used that again this didn’t cause us drama as we had our own solution ! Would I stay here again , on reflection yes I would given the positives & to give them another chance as I feel this property with a tiny little bit of TLC and attention would be fab !! I would hope the feedback is constructive not received as offensive ! Thanks ! ☺️
