Very Cozy (small) Stay in Blue Ridge

The cabin was nice but very small. Riverside portion of property with fire pit was down its steep driveway, across the street. Location of cabin was nice and allowed us to find some new sites, including the Toccoa River Restaurant, which we enjoyed. Definitely recommend approaching cabin from the Aska Road side to avoid long narrow gravel portion of Stanley Road.

Exactly what you need

We stayed a few days and what a great experience. This Cabin is perfect for hikers with excellent trail heads in the immediate vicinity. The host was great, everything was great. This is a “small” cabin but it has everything you need, a nice peaceful front porch and really nothing negative about it. Loved it plus recommend to anyone and likely will be back next year.

The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was just as described in the listing. Located in a great spot for peace and privacy but still a quick drive to Blue Ridge and restsurants.

Cozy and romantic hideaway but very small

Beautiful cozy well supplied but very small. There was no place to put bags or belongings and almost no room to walk around in bedroom. Advertising and pictures don't show that. Also the bed was way too firm. Overll beautiful location with lovely scenery and lots of things todo.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was a great getaway spot for the two of us and our medium/small dogs! Location is close enough to everything the area has to offer, and very close to some great attractions - fantastic hiking, river tubing and paddling, and a couple restaurants - but is still a private mountain retreat. We loved sitting on the deck and the cabin itself was very comfortable while still having a real cabin feel. A couple things to mention so they don’t come as a surprise. This is a real cabin with modern amenities like heat and ac etc. It is as photos show and described. The kitchen is small and does not have a dishwasher - the listing/photos makes this clear. We cooked during our stay but did smaller, less complicated meals with fewer dishes. The gas grill makes things easier. The driveway is steep if you are not used to driving/staying in the mountains. Recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle if you are not the most confident driver. We had a great stay and Johnny was an excellent host to work with! Would stay again!

Cabin on the hill

Perfect size cabin for two. Very secluded but in a nice part of blue ridge/cherry log. Would recommend to anyone looking. Only thing that was a downside, was the lighting in the cooking area was kind of bleak.

Wonderful cabin

Cozy, wonderful cabin for a getaway. It was easy to find, and just secluded enough. My husband and our dog stayed a long weekend and it was all the comforts of home . Our host was wonderful to work with . I can recommend this cabin wholeheartedly 🙂

Perfect!

We arrived late, and the light was on. The cabin was just what we were looking for. It was secluded, but still not too far from town. The only thing that I would mention is that instructions to use fireplace were a bit generic and unclear. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. Thank you!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Hideaway. We went to hike with our dogs and hoped to see some snow. The weather cooperated for us as we had a lovely snowfall on the day we arrived. The cabin is adorable. Think tiny house but with everything you could possibly need. I have stayed in cabins four times bigger that were not as well appointed. The owner was great to communicate with and very helpful with lots of tips and recommendations of local activities. The cabin was very close to the Aska trails where we did several great hikes. We would certainly stay at the Hideaway again!

The Hideaway for a perfect getaway

The Hideaway was the perfect getaway cabin for my husband and I. The cabin was so cozy with great amenities. We loved the access to the creek and the hot tub. The location was close to some great hiking trails, restaurants, Ellijay, and Blue Ridge. The host was available to answer questions and provided great information about the area. Perfect weekend!

Lovely tiny cabin!

Enjoyed this tiny cabin! Stanley creek is right across the road where we had a fire everyday and relaxed. The coolest thing... we had a black bear come right up on the porch! Loved our stay!

Interesting cabin

Great cabin, small but then again; listing describes as small. Driveway very steep. It is a lovely beautiful cabin, comfortable with everything you need. Didn't use hot tub, but it was ready for use. Has beautiful logs and a great charm. Not suitable for elderly whom would have difficulty with stairs. The photos with the cabana creekside are down the steep drive and across road. That being said, there is not any flat yard for your pet to potty. There was a widespread power outage in area while there, this was not an issue as you had everything you need; including battery operated portable lights. This cabin was clean and comfortable for a getaway weekend.

Aska area gem

Little cabin perfect size for couple off paved roads in Aska area. Little creek at end of driveway. We booked this stay last minute while traveling through area and all we needed was a toothbrush….most well equipped rental I have encountered. Could use a little brighter ceiling lights. Overall clean and perfect little setup.
