Currently this location is starting renovations so I do not recommend. Our room was located in the front, by the parking lot. There was a huge dumpster outside to the left of our room filled with carpet and mattresses. Directly in front of our room in the parking lot was a pile of rolling chairs (probably a dozen). Amenities were limited due to covid. This location definitely needs the renovations because the rooms were tidy but not fresh. If the renovations would have been complete I think it would be a good location. Maggie Valley was a pretty area to visit, but we checked out of this hotel after only being there for 5 hours. Front desk associate was kind.

The whole upstairs was hot, (it was not hot outside). The AC in the room did not work. I told this to the desk attendant, who replied, "really?" "thanks for letting me know". Pretty sure I'd would have received the same response if I said big-foot was in the room.

Extremely dirty halls and room. Had to be switched to another room because of garbage on floor of room and makeup and hair on bedsheets. The second room smelled like urine and bathroom floor dirty and dirt on carpet. No other rooms where available in town. Was on our honeymoon and very upset. We thought with name like Ramada it would be nice hotel

The cleanliness of this hotel is awful. Our room smelled awful. We were told it was because someone had left the sliding glass doors open and the smell of the small creek was what we smelled. We were given a spray cleaner to spray in the room. The glass sliding doors did not have a handle to open it with. They came and put one on. The track of the doors was so filthy you could barely slide the door open. No screens - a bug flew in and when I killed it - it landed behind the night stand. When I moved the night stand out to get the bug . . . there was an inch or more of dust and dirt there. I left the bug. Upon arrival we had a refrigerator which you had to tilt back to open the door. They did change that out and gave us a better refrigerator. There was dirt that had been swept in the hallway to the baseboards along the way. We spotted a fruit loop in the pile of dirt on Saturday. The dirt pile finally disappeared on Wednesday. We also had a guest chair in the room that was so dilapidated that if you chose to sit in it - you could not get out of it. I selected this hotel since it was a Ramada hotel thinking it would be an fairly modern, clean hotel. I was very disappointed in this hotel. We could not change hotels as we would have lost our money since we booked thru travelocity and there were no vacancies close. The staff was very friendly and polite, but I will be more selective in my next trip on where I stay and not rely on the name of a chain hotel.

My overall experience at this hotel was Terrible. The moment you walk into the non-smoking room it smelled like cigarettes as if someone just had a cigarette. Everything was out dated and old. Old couches with stains and the head board was full of scratch marks. Please don't let the pictures on their website fool you! It's extremely loud there and trust me I would never stay there again!
