Wonderful weekend away

We had a fabulous time this weekend at the property! We couldn’t be happier with our stay and look forward to coming back soon! House was stocked with everything we needed and more! So cozy and a great home away from home! If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Overall, the stay was good, however, we requested to have the batteries in a smoke alarm upstairs changed and that never occurred during our stay. As such, we had to sleep through a beeping alarm.

Fun for the whole family

Very well located within the complex, close to enough to the pools, and the playground. We enjoyed the home a lot. The kitchen was not as well stocked as we would have liked, so I would recommend preparing for that.

The children loved the bunk room it were disappointed that the commercial video arcade console that was advertised on the listing was not included with our rental. The kitchen was well appointed and the premises were clean and tidy. The master bedroom on the second level does get quite warm even with the vents wide open. The master bath window in the shower is not frosted so neighbors across the street will have a view :)

Love The Lookout

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Five adults and three kids enjoyed the Lookout at Chelan. The location of the Yellowstone was perfect, close to both pools, and the shuttle pickup service.The home is perfect size for the family. There is definitely some wear and tear, especially with regard to kitchen amenities--very dull knives. Several faucets needed tightening and fortunately my husband always brings tools. The garage code had been changed so we couldn't access it until they let us know on the 2nd day. It would be great if there were at least four porch chairs--we love sitting on the porch watching life go by. The lake was fabulous.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 couples in the rental. The rental all gave us plenty of space to be together and also spaces to be apart. It was clean. We cooked as a group. We thoroughly enjoy the fire pit on the back patio. We were a bit disappointed when the neighbor asked us to go inside at the stoke of 10:00 pm especially since we were very subdued. We enjoyed playing pickle ball and using the pool at the community rec area. It was a very successful get away. Thanks!

The Lookout's a great Community; House could have been better

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed in The Lookout community before. It's an awesome experience and we highly recommend it! We tried the Yellowstone house this year. The layout was much better than our last home in The Lookout. But, several items needed to be replaced in the house. Most items in the garage game room were broken when we arrived, including the ping pong table net, the paddles, the pool sticks, and both of the bikes. Also, when we went to check out, the dish washer did not seem to work (we washed dishes by hand during out stay so didn't notice previously). Finally, the bed and pillows in the master bedroom were materially worn down. None of this stopped us from having an amazing vacation and we still enjoyed the house. The firepit in the back was great for smores. The home's location is great for pool access with the kids. And, we managed to figure out how to prop up the broken ping pong table net, so the kids could still enjoy it. All and all, a great vacation and we will come back to The Lookout community again!

Yes I could get critical about only having 2 wine glasses and that management has to contact owner to get more when your your paying thousands of $....what?? Or that pool table (please replace it) that was way out of level and the pockets that fall out of the table but the boys still liked it.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone but quite frankly for the price we were surprised every day at what was lacking in supplies and the quality of the supplies that did exist. For one example: two wine glasses for a home that sleeps 12 located in wine country? Really? That's the best you can do? For a home that is over $1200 a night?

Broken Promises

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in on Saturday and the air conditioning did not cool the house at night below 80 degrees. We call the office the next day and a maintenance person came, there was an error message on the thermostat which he tried unsuccessfully to clear. He told us he would arrange for an air-conditioning company to come the next day, Monday. No one came and we called the office again. We were then told someone would come the following day...and, no one came. The pattern continued every day (i.e. "they will be there night the heat on the second floor would go as high as 85 degrees which was unbearable. If we knew it would have never been repaired we would have left. Some days we were given the time slots when the air conditioning company would be there but they didn't show. It was finally fixed on Friday, all it needed was some coolant and it took less than an hour to fix. We felt the office people were being less than open with us about the situation and not telling us the facts. They then offered us a 10% discount for our stay which was an insult as the value of a rental house without air-conditioning was close to zero if they were trying to rent it. We also felt the renters before us must have also had issues and we should have been informed and asked to reschedule our vacation. We had rented the same house twice before and had no issues.

We liked that we could peek out the window to see how busy the pool and hot tub was. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed which has never happened in a rental property. We will definitely stay again!

Winterfest Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Lookout. This was our fourth trip in a year, a different house for each stay so we've gotten the feel for the neighborhood. Winterfest in Chelan and Manson made for great daytime activities, and then hot tubs and pool in the evening.

The Bluewater and House With No Name

The rentals at the beach were a top hit. Convenient rentals gave the teens and adults a lot of pleasure. Having the second pool and the beach for swimming was very nice. Older guests appreciated the transportation down and up the beach hill.We’ve stayed house rentals in many states and these home were by far the best equipped for all the cooking we like to do. The house facilities were excellent (w/d) etc.
