Beautiful home in a great location

This house was perfect for a family gathering. The Lookout is an awesome place to stay and in a very convenient location in Chelan. Fantastic overall experience.

Don't get me wrong the problems we had was with the internet connection. The WiFi really didn't work and was very slow. But everything else was amazingly wonderful. Great time with family. Would not hesitate to go back.

The Place for a Family Reunion!

Easy walk up to pool, to the marina and beach. Housekeeping was so accommodating and the young men driving everyone down to the beach were amazing and polite young gentlemen. Tons of fun activities for kids and adults. Looking forward to returning!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I arrived with a group total of 15 persons. Summersalts, with the carriage house, had ample room for all of us, especially with the lovely outdoor setting. Kids and adults were entertained with the hot tub, fire pit, ball games and the view. We had a majority of our meals outside. The house had a large supply of everything we needed, including kitchen supplies, towels and games. Our overall experience was beyond perfect. The access to the whole resort by walking the paths or using all the frequent shuttles made it easy to see it all. The marina setting was very visitor friendly. Staff were helpful, accessible and cheerful. They were accommodating when we had to return after our stay and pick up items left behind. The daily activities were welcomed by our guests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is amazing. We recently stayed at Summersalts for 4 nights. Two grandparents, five parents and six children ages 2-9. The house was perfect.There are no details overlooked at this property. From wonderful linens and comfortable beds to a pantry of items that you might have forgotten to bring. The layout of the house is spacious , the "hot pool" a huge hit and serviced everyday. The pools and snack bar were a huge hit and one grandchild earned $10 for jumping in the lake! We could not have been happier with our stay.Excellent customer service ,beautifully maintained home and bonus artwork throughout by the owner. I hope to stay here again.

An Incredible Chelan Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We shared this home with 3 other families and had the most incredible time! The house was immaculately clean and spacious and had a lot of outside area for the kids to play. We used the fire pit and outside dining area every evening after the kids went to bed. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Both pools were walkable from it and the pick up place for the beach cart was just a short walk from our driveway. We have stayed at Chelan Lookout many times and always have the best experience. If you are looking for a bigger home for a large family or multiple families, this is the perfect place. We are already planning to book this home again next year!

Everything very good.... except for one small thing.

Reviewer Comments: The space was great, very clean, inviting, good layout, had a hot tub, bluetooth speakers in the ceiling, and even had extra spices and seasonings in case you forgot something. However, the last foot or so of handrail at the top of the stairs was cut off at a 45 deg. angle from the rest, and the bolt was loose (seemed like a design/builder defect/flaw, and a dangerous condition to have in a rental house). We enjoyed our stay, but were later called about the "damaged" handrail (the handrail that you use in order to keep from falling down the stairs, and that is supposed to hold your entire weight without breaking). That was a turn off, considering that we paid over $2,600 for a weekend stay in the winter along with a damage deposit and damage insurance, and the handrail was loose before we got there, and was a dangerous condition that should never have existed and that could have put members of my family at risk of falls down the stairs.

Summersalts in August

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a nice vacation. The home is lovely. But the rental office support was VERY lacking. On the first morning of our stay, the house fire alarm went off several times starting at 6:00 am. It took five hours for the rental office to have someone come check on the problem. Construction around our house often started before the 8:00 am designated time and the construction crews started blasting their music well before 8:00 am. When we called the rental office about the music, we were told that they could do nothing about it. How is that possible? When we ran out of propane, it took over 12 hours for us to get a new tank. We have witnessed renter customer support decline steadily over the past few years during our annual summer stay at The Lookout. Considering the crazy rise in rental prices over the past few years, you would think that customer support would get better, not worse.

The Best Summer Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most fun vacationing in Chelan at The Lookout and at the Summersalts #55. The house has top of the line everything and was the perfect space for gatherings and for quiet time. It has a beautiful view from the back porch. The Lookout also has the best space. We played pickle ball, used the pools, and practically lived on the beach by the marina. Renting boats and jet skis was super easy. And we could head into town just a few minutes away. Highly recommend and we’ll do it again.
