How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Coco Island

Make your flight to Coco Island a little easier by reading over these helpful security tips:

  • Ensure your travel ID and boarding pass are easy to reach. You will be instructed to present them straightaway.
  • You'll need to stop the tunes for a little while. Headphones need to be removed and placed in a bin for X-raying. The same goes for items such as coins and keys.
  • Electronic devices such as laptops, cameras and phones will need to be put through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're easily accessible.
  • When you approach the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, gels and liquids in a separate bin for inspection. Make sure they're all packed in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Steel-cap footwear and other cumbersome shoes tend to be X-rayed by security personnel. We suggest wearing lightweight sneakers instead.
  • Some countries have stringent biosecurity laws. Think about where you're going to and whether or not it's permissible to fly with unpackaged foods.
