Flight Review

Mar 14, 2020

A few more chairs before boarding would help. A number of us stood for a half hour.

Mar 14, 2020

Only problem was the 45-60 minute wait at the gate for our pain to be allowed to leave.

Jan 19, 2020

Crew did a great job given the weather and weather-related delays of the prior day. Friendly, informative, and on-time. We also had an excellent service experience, over two rebooking of our flight, with the call center staff who offered up alternatives, cheerfully walked us through the rebooking process, and sent timely messages confirming the rebooking. We also enjoyed the text and email updates during the day prior to our flight keeping us apprised. Really, really appreciated. Thank you..

I guess I need to lose weight to fit your seats!

Dec 30, 2019

It was very very delayed but due to weather, so what do you do? It was fine once it got going. Thanka

I had an issue with my ticket which wasn't issed properly. I couldn't check in online or at a kiosk. The gentleman at the desk was fantastic; he somehow fixed everything and got me out of there in time to make my flight. I swear he was literally running to help me.

Flight line people are the best!

Sep 25, 2018

It was an hour an a half late waiting for the flight crew. Pretty inconvenient. Luckily I didn't have to be anywhere.

Sep 23, 2018

Plane had technical issues after we boarded. Delta quickly got a replacement plane for us and we were shortly on the way.

Sep 14, 2018

I didn't like that the keosk wouldn't let me finish checking in. Staff sent me away to another building, and a third keosk until a certain staff helped get past the warning. Then I had to walk to first building with ticket. :(

All just fine

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Austin

Your adventure to Austin begins as soon as you've completed all the security checks. We've put together a list of tips and pointers to help you get through quickly:

  • Be sure you know the location of your boarding pass and travel ID. You don't want to hold up the queue when you're asked to hand them over.
  • It's helpful to know that metal belt buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you're wearing one, you may be instructed to place it in a tray before proceeding.
  • Electronic devices such as laptops, cameras and phones will need to be put through the X-ray machine separately. Be sure you can get to them quickly.
  • When you approach the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, liquids and gels in a separate tub for scanning. Make sure they're all stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Give some thought to the type of footwear you want to fly in. Slippers are great because they're a cinch to step out of for the airport security checks. Try wearing a pair on your next journey!
  • The list of prohibited items is forever updating. Read over your airline's official website to find out what is not allowed on board their flights.
