Very helpful flight attendants

Jan 25, 2020

The leg between Doha and Amman was on Royal Jordanian. RJ is becoming a mess. If it is my choice, I will always chose a different option than RJ.

Dec 11, 2019

Old plane and old seats but ok. Staff was very friendly and quick to serve.

Jul 21, 2018

The plane was crowded. It was full, I guess it’s summer and many people travel.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Amman

These clever hints and tips about airport security checks will save you a lot of time and energy on your trip to Amman:

  • Keep your travel ID and boarding pass somewhere accessible. They'll be the first things you'll be told to produce by airport security personnel.
  • You'll need to pause the music for a few minutes. Headphones and earphones need to be removed and placed in a tray for X-raying. The same applies to items such as keys and coins.
  • Digital cameras, laptops and other electronic devices must be placed in a tray to be X-rayed.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to place all creams, liquids and gels in a separate bin for inspection. Make sure they're all in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Untie your shoelaces as you approach the body scanner. Depending on the sort of shoes you're wearing, security may instruct you to remove them.
  • Some countries have stringent biosecurity laws. Think about where you're headed to and whether or not you're permitted to fly with unpackaged foods.
