Flight Review

Jul 18, 2018

Didn’t realize my ticket did not include luggage. I paid close to a 1100$ for a ticket and had to pay for my suitcase. Wasn’t noted on Travelocity when I purchased my ticket

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Abidjan

Your trip to Abidjan starts as soon as you've finished all the security checks. We've put together a list of handy tips to help you get through quickly:

  • Have your passport and boarding pass in an easily accessible place. They'll be the first things you'll be asked to produce by airport security.
  • You'll need to put your tunes on pause for a few minutes. Headphones must be removed and placed in a tray for X-raying. The same applies to items such as coins and keys.
  • Everyday electronics such as laptops, phones and cameras need to be sent through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, gels and liquids in a separate tray for scanning. Make sure they're all stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Security personnel may ask you to remove your shoes prior to entering the body scanner. Choose a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing worse than having to do up your laces over and over again.
  • The list of non-permissible items is forever changing. Read over your airline's official website to learn about what is not allowed on board their flights.
