Have stayed here many times before for work and always enjoyed my stay, however this time the stay was pretty average.
The main reason for staying at the hotel is the Italian restaurant next door, however, the restaurant was poor this time, and it is very expensive now too.
The hotel is okay, needs updating in many areas, especially the bathrooms of the rooms. Parking is also a nightmare, I had to park a good 10min walk away this time.
The main issue for me this time was that there are always lots of people in and around the bar area that are not residents, just people using the hotel for 3-4 hours for work. I checked in and went to the bar to do some emails, however, there was a guy on his phone, walking round and round the restaurant and bar area talking really loudly, it was really annoying, especially as in the couple f hours I was there he bought 1 coffee.
I am sure there are nicer places to stay in the area which I will be staying at next time.
