The room was clean and air conditioner was working very well. One main issue is about a very small section for breakfast and waiting time to fill fruits or eggs was too much. Other than that it was not too far from shopping centers. The employees were kind and helpful.

Terrible, stay somewhere else

Made reservations for 3 nights. I called a week ahead of time to request a room on the ground floor as I had an e-bike that I did not want to carry up the stairs. (No elevator)I also requested an early check in time for 2pm. When I arrived no one was at the desk to greet me. Had to ring the bell. The room was on the top floor and also my room was not ready. The front desk clerk also said the room would not be ready for 3pm, went back to my car and contacted Hotels.com and was willing to cancel if they did not have my room ready, for my 3pm check in time, magically the room was ready. Hotels.com were great with excellent customer service. They were very helpful and I’m guessing they contacted the hotel to get my room ready for 3pm. The room was dirty and smelled musty. One water cup that was not wrapped and no coffee cups for the coffee maker. I went down to the lobby and went to the breakfast area to get a coffee cup and the front desk clerk was very rude stating I was not allowed to be in the breakfast area. No good morning or can I help you… he was an a$$hole and not helpful. Breakfast was overcrowded and chaotic. Too many people crammed in such a small space. Grabbed breakfast at the Tim Hortons across the street. Did not want to deal with the crowds. The internet connection was not reliable and cut out all the time. The TV was internet connected and would cut out as well. Overall not a good experience & would not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Propert was clean and rooms were nice. Its an old property and for that, they are doing a decent job. Only thing really to note was the shower in the washroom had very little water flow. Also the airconditioning unit said there is a control panel on the wall to operate it but its actually operated directly from the unit itself. Little nuisances but workable.

The bed was comfortable but the dog hair in the corners and along the walls of the room and bathroom was not pleasant. The sagging drywall in the bathroom ceiling was also a little concerning.

The lady at the front desk was lovely, and check-in was quick, but dear lord, the room was dirty. There were months' worth of dust and dirt under the beds and behind them. I wasn't purposefully looking; I was trying to plug in my phone. It was a last-minute booking on a Saturday, so it was around $375 (I believe) for one night, which is steep, but okay because it saved us. I just hoped they cleaned more thoroughly for that price. That is the only issue.

It’s s a mediocre place for bed and breakfast. But the price they charged was way too highy for one night. (> $250). Except for the quick checkin, there were many issues in this property. Room has pre existing damages. Bed linen and towels were not clean. Bed was very noisy and small. Uncomfortable. It was not even sleeved properly. Room was not clean. It had spider web with spider(s) in it. Informed front desk staff but they dint even bother! Breakfast was moderate with very limited options! No room service. We booked for 4 adults. Room didnt have even toiletries that cater to 4 ppl! Felt like a random highway motel and did not stand upto “Travelodge/Wyndham expectations”. We booked 8 hotels only because it’s branded chain despite it’s expensive. But it turned out to be disappointing stay. Definitely not worth the price.

This property is not budged friendly as they are taking the amount not not giving service up to the mark compare to this prize other motels or hotels provide. Room was ok ok not bad but the washroom sink was chocking all the time & we need to clean it that was horrible experience. The electricity was tripping all the time that was another level of struggle that I need to go on desk inform them because there was no intercom to call front desk surprisingly. Then the front desk staff told me when the electricity gets Tripped you need to open the electricity box & reset the switch which is a dangerous task if I get electricity shock who will be responsible for that. In breakfast they can only limited options so they covered the breakfast cost in room rent. They can provide good options in breakfast. Overall I am not satisfied with the service & facility compare to cost. There is no Handwash in the room & the tissue quality was to poor. So overall it’s not good experience.

Hotel is making some upgrades over the years which is great. Customer service still isn’t great. I tried to call the front desk weeks in advance to ask them something and they never answer the phone. Never returned the call. Front desk ppl are hit and miss. Still understaffed in the restaurant. Beach loungers and equipment needs to be replaced badly. HV is still a gem though, just don’t expect exceptional service or anything.

We stayed at Travelodge for one night. The hotel is dated but clean. The most important thing for us after a long drive was to have clean and comfortable beds, which it did, and I’m glad for that since I couldn’t find any other hotel. The staff were friendly, which we appreciated. The breakfast wasn’t good at all, but I kind of expected that.

My first time booking here (4 people): Reception 5/5, breakfast 4/5, room that I booked for online and confirmed on the main level specifically, but while checking in was told none were available, “nothing we can do” and had to climb up and down a flight of stairs to the second floor with my bad back and belongings for 3 days, 1/5, housekeeping and room cleanliness: floor not being vacuumed, bathroom floor filthy, not enough towels, toilet paper and toiletries for all 4 of us so I had to go to reception daily and beg for them, 1/5. NEVER staying at Travelodge Owen Sound EVER again. I’ll be going back to Nights Inn down the road in the future.

There was nothing which can be liked, customer service very poor so rude. Appliances for example iron was old and did not work properly. For breakfast area was not enough to accommodate more customers so you need to wait long.
