Cozy and bright, this recently renovated Cape Cod-style home is walkable to UVA, less than 10 minutes drive from Downtown, and centrally located for all Charlottesville and nearby attractions have to offer! Monticello, wineries, parks/natural areas and other attractions are all moments away.

Home is strictly pet/animal-free and smoke/vape-free - perfect for those with allergies, asthma, or any other related conditions or preferences calling for a fur, dander, and odor-free home! South-facing front windows provide a light-filled atmosphere all day long; while back deck in a flower/tree-filled, sizeable fenced-in backyard surrounded by a safe and quiet neighborhood make this home a private, wonderful place to relax.

First bedroom has a queen bed, while the second has a choice of fold-out sofa or queen-sized air mattress plus a small desk and media center so may also be used as an office area, media/game room, and/or generally for more space to spread out (or for those nights when you just need to kick your partner out for snoring).

Central AC/heating, as well as fast and reliable Ting internet connection. Small driveway at front of home, plus free street parking in the neighborhood. Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) stop a 5 minute walk.

Washing machine and dryer on premises in unfinished basement accessible to guest. In main living area - linens, towels, cookware and utensils all provided.

    The best thing I liked about our stay is our host Anna, and of course her quiet and nice property. She is an absolutely amazing host who remembered to inform me of a possible power outage in the area that helped me in planning my travel. I appreciate her thoughtfulness as she kept a frozen pizza in the fridge for dinner - thank you!! During our stay too, she was making me aware of possible internet outages etc and was very responsive always addressing all my questions quickly. When she had a possibility of not being available for couple days she made sure to share with me the contact details of her dad -- really above and beyond and really 5 star for her as a host. Now the property: it was clean and has washer/dryer in the basement; gas station and shops and some restaurants are 5 minutes drive. For us the most important aspect was location and this property was the best in that aspect. Fontaine Research Park was just 5-minute drive for us which was really convenient. In addition, the property is quiet and has a comfortable bed. The bed accommodates two people comfortably -- the sofa-bed was not of much use to us because it opens up and stays on the floor but the air mattress was nice to have (worked well with our kid). Overall, it is a comfortable place for 2 people with very nice location (if you want to be closer to UVA) and Anna is an amazing responsive host. When we are visiting town again, we will definitely stay here.
