Lovely staff and cute little hotel right in the middle of the old town. In a very picturesque walk way. It’s a little dated and has very tiny rooms with even tinier bathrooms with a little personal shower. Not ideal for two. If you have a large suitcase good luck finding space for it

The location is great, though it can be a little difficult to find on first arrival. The staff is very, very helpful. The free parking is on the street or in public lots nearby.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and open to answer any questions about the places around the area. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the location was great to walk around the old town of Chania. I really recommend it.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay here. The hotel is well situated and we had a lovely view of the harbor. Room was spotlessly clean with thoughtful amenities including coffee, comfortable bed, fridge, safe etc. George was so helpful and gave us some great suggestions as well as answering my curious questions about life on Crete. We felt safe and comfortable here and would highly recommend for a stay in Chania.

My room has a very good view of the Venetian habour. George and Ilissa are extremely helpful and friendly helping me to know the nearby area, restaurants and attractions. The location of the hotel is perfect for fist timer. It is mid point between the Venetian port and Nea Chora Beach. 10 – 15 minutes walk to other major attractions and the Central bus station.

Me and my wife stayed at Helena Hotel during our visit to Chania. It was a great hotel which had a perfect location with everything within walking distance. Clean and tidy hotel with good sized rooms. Bedrooms with the Chania harbour view are amazing and beautiful. Staff who were a father and son team were excellent, extremely helpful, polite, welcoming, pleasant and accommodating who went the extra mile to assist us. I Would definitely stay at Helena Hotel again I would highly recommend Helena Hotel. Thank you for your kindness and assistant.

In a great location for exploring Chania, the harbour is less than a minutes walk, as is the town, but you wouldn't know it. The owner and his son were very friendly and gave us lots of good advice on where to visit and great restaurants to eat at. Thank you for making our stay so welcome. The room was cleaned every day with clean towels every other day. We had the first floor room without views, but were out all day and evening so this did not bother us.

Cute Hotel

Fabulous location, adorable hotel room. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room had a view of the bay and waterfront area in Old Town. Bed was a little hard and I could hear some noise from outside in the distance.

Terrible noise

No complaints about the hotel itself or the staff but for two out of three of the nights we stayed here there was incredibly loud music with a thumping bass coming from one of the bars across the harbour until 5 or 6am. This made it impossible to sleep and basically ruined our stay in what was a lovely hotel with a great view. When we complained to the staff they were very concerned but said they could do nothing about it.
