I have been using Quay Apartments on and off for the past 7 years and gradually the quality of both the standard of their customer service and apartments has declined. The apartment was cold and lacking in warmth both in temperature and empathy. Blank white walls with no pictures, no soft furnishings or rugs made the place echo and the lack of lamp shades made for harsh white light rather than a softer warmer welcoming atmosphere. The person checking me in could only shrug and the person on the end of the phone was glib and uninterested. I was told to ring 15 minutes ahead of arrival so I could be met at the RV. Did so and then waited 10 for the agent to arrive!
Just back from Dubai where the level of customer service far out strips anything we have in the UK and this experience just made the difference even more obvious.
