The motel is a small property but small should not be indicative of bad shape and disgusting. Room smelled like someone was smoking in there and towels in the bathroom were dirty

This was the most disgusting place we have ever stayed in. When we took showers, the tub filled up with around 5 inches of water. The bathroom fan did not work. There was paint peeling off the walls. The mattress must have been thirty years old. You could see out the side of the door because of the gap. We asked for extra pillows, and when he brought them, the pillow cases were dirty. The refrigerator was next to the bed and hummed all night. It was just beyond words. Mu husband went to the office several times, but no one was there. We even left a day early and didn't stay the remaining night that we paid for. Also, they charge you when you check in, not when you check out. It's apparent they know that everyone is going to complain and want their money back. I am going to send them a letter letting them know how utterly disgusting our stay was. We drove from Salem, Oregon for a funeral, and the accommodations made the trip even more difficult. It was a nightmare!
