I booked this hotel stay thru Travelocity and upon arrival they did not have our reservation. It was a bit of a shocker but thank God the hotel took good care of us and found us rooms, along with honoring our booking rate.

Steam Room burn injury!

I suffered burns to my hands, ears, face and arms when I entered the steam room. Luckily I was able to exit quickly enough that they weren't more serious. They were bad enough to cause blistering. I am a 20 year firefighter in a major city and have been in some pretty hairy and hot buildings over the years, but never experienced anything as hot as that steam room. While cooling off in the pool I had my daughter report this to a nearby maintenance man who laughed at her and told her that steam doesn't burn. Infuriated I told the man of my experience, having received several burns from steam in my profession. ( water on fire creates steam) so I watch the man enter and quickly exit the room having burned his arm! I went to speak to the manager who was pleasant and apologetic and he promptly fill out an incident report and asked if I required medical attention. I was told the General Manager would call and check on my injuries the following day. That call never came! Luckily I know how to treat such burns, but I still had to take a 24 hour shift off of work today as a result!! I understand that accidents happen. I'm glad it was me and not a kid! I can live with the burns. What I can't live with is the GM not following up with the incident and accepting responsibility. Therefore I cannot recommend this hotel and I will let as many people I know about my experience!!

Beautiful resort and accommodations

A very pleasant stay the evening before the Dirty Girl Mud Run. The first room we were given had a wet carpet but they moved us to another room with a smile and no trouble at all. They even allowed us to use their shower facilities by the pool area after the race, even though we'd checked out! Very pleased with our stay-we'll be back and for the entire weekend next time!

Killington / Spartan Beast

1 bed room suite, fits 4 people perfectly. It was clean, walking distance to event and had a nice place to eat and a bar to grab a drink. I will be staying here again next year. Also Jasmine was an excellent help in planning this trip.

This is a beautifully located place with great amenities

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, heated outdoor pool with a view
The suite I stayed in had a fully equipped kitchen, two couches, with a coffee table, and a murphy bed. I was surprised at hoe comfortable the bed was. The staff was great and it was very clean. The highlight was swimming in the heated outdoor pool, while looking at the snow-covered mountains, which are right there!

/You get what you pay for.

The resort although pricey is worth it if you want to relax after a day of skiing. If you are out all night and will not have time to enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs this is not for you. If you are like my wife and I and like to ski all day and unwind at night with a swim or a soak in the hot tub with a beverage and get ready for the next day on the slopes then this is for you. the rooms are nice. The hotel rest. is expensive. For us we like that you can walk out the back door and get on the lift in the morning and not move the car until dinner time. Best place I stayed in Killington.
