The Palmetto Garden Cottage at Palmetto Beach, Avenida Mangle, Caye Caulker, Belize.

This really beautiful addition is spacious and can actually accommodate 4 guests with a futon in the living room. You can have the King bed separated into two twins if you request it. Also a Queen Futon in the living room for extra sleeping capacity. We built the bathroom so that it can be entered both through the bedroom and separately from the living room for privacy at night. This property is located underneath Barbara's Beach House, having had so much success with Sandy's and Laura's lay out way we decided to build underneath Barbara's. With large bright windows and French doors opening out onto a Palapa covered deck you enjoy a beautiful Palm Grove which is lit up at night.

Right on your door step is a tranquil palm grove with BBQ facilities including picnic tables and a giant Jenga game. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for free, Beer can be bought at the front desk by the bottle, the bucket or a whole case. You can also rent bikes and golf carts at the front desk or book tours with anyone of the many tour operators on the island for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving or sunset sailing cruises, our staff are there to help. Bikes are available to rent at US $7.50 per bike, per day, We also rent golf carts but supply is limited. We recommend you reserve with us in advance.

We have a pool shared with our other guests however the best feature we have found is the huge dock we built running some 300 feet out to sea with sunbathing pods built off the sides as well a huge swimming deck at the end and a large Palapa to shade you from the sun. We built a beach which you can hang out on as well with loungers and Palapa covered tables as well as corn hole and ladder Toss games to entertain you. The whole dock, beach and poolside decks are covered with chaise lounges complete with comfortable mattresses. We have staff on site throughout the day and a Security guard on hand at night to ensure your safety. Our onsite office hours are 9:00pm - 7:00pm, so that someone is always on hand to help with your needs. You have easy access to the Beach Road, which will take you right into the center of town by either a 5-10 minute bike ride, or a 10- 15 minute walk, but the location remains quiet and secluded; a bit of the Caye Caulker of old!!!
