Castiglion Fiorentino is a historic village between the Clanis and Chio valleys, inhabited by the Etruscans. Visit the fascinating Romanesque buildings in the village center or the 16th century Vasari's Loggia from where you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Take longer excursions from here and hike through the sun-drenched fields of the picturesque Valdichiana Aretina area or discover wonderful attractions along the Via Romea Germanica. You can also enjoy culinary delights such as excellent honey, excellent extra virgin olive oil and delicious meat and sausages!
