VILLA CALLIOPE - SCOPELLO AREA
Situated in the municipal of Scopello, Villa Calliope is the ideal place to discover the wild nature of Sicily. The villa is near the Nature Reserve of Zingaro. Nearby, you can also find the stunning Greek temple of Segesta 20km from the house. Travelling another 20 km you can find the spectacular middle age village of Erice dominating Trapani and the north western point of Sicily. Going eastbound you can reach Palermo, one of the most ancient cities in Europe.
Villa Calliope is approx. 300 sq. meters big within 22,000 sq. meters of garden that is built in the typical Mediterranean style, developed over two levels. The entire property is fenced and has a private main entry gate and its own parking slot. The swimming pool, completely private, illuminated during the night, is surrounded by a solarium with deck-chairs and beach umbrellas, an external shower is present next to the swimming pool. Several tables are found outside for your lunch and dinner times with the help of an external barbecue.
The ground floor corresponds to the day-zone with a large living room. On one corner of the living room a dining room with a big briar root table. Follows a modern stain steel kitchen decorated with beautiful local marbles with colours that remind the local nature. In the kitchen there is a common bathroom built in rough travertine. The kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, toaster, not electric kettle and a gas-stove and an oven. On one side of the kitchen there is a small laundry room with washing machine.
On the west zone there is the only double bedroom available on the ground floor. It has its own access to the garden. It’s furnished with a TV, modern double bed another single bed and a practical closet. This room can be used as a triple room. It has its own private bathroom.
Through comfortable stairs you access the first floor where there is the night zone. There are 4 bedrooms all with visible wooden beams. The first and the second room have a double bed and a small balcony with view over the sea, the swimming pool and the surrounding fields. The third room has 2 separate beds that can be united to form a double bed. This room has also a small balcony with view of the mountain. The three room share the bathroom with shower boot located in the corridor that connects the rooms. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a single bed; it can be used as a triple room. This room has its own bathroom and a large balcony with sea and swimming pool view. Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer.
From a well-furnished terrace, you pass to the swimming pool zone. The kidney-shaped swimming pool is 11m x 6 m and 1.5m deep and open from 1st April until 31st October. There is an external barbecue on one side of the villa.
Air conditioning only in the double bedroom on the ground floor, in the double bedroom with private bathroom on the first floor and in the corridor of the first floor.
WIFI, TV, DVD Player and alarm system are available.

- The water is rich in limestone and we recommend that for drinking purposes you are using bottled water only. The water at this property can be used for washing and cooking, but not drinking.
