Casa Carob, 4 bedroom villa with air conditioning and private pool

Casa Carob is a wonderful holiday villa in the coastal countryside not far from the beaches of Praia de Benagil and Praia da Marinha, just a short drive from the idyllic fishing village of Carvoeiro and the town of Lagoa.



Access to the villa is via a quiet country lane, double gates leading to a gravel driveway leading to a single carport and parking for several cars.



The spacious, attractively furnished lounge/dining room has a built in bar, wood burner, satellite TV (Freeview channels) and DVD and CD player/radio. A door leads from the dining area into a large, well equipped kitchen with black marble worktops and light wood cabinets. Facilities include a large fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and electric ceramic hob with oven.



All master bedrooms have a modern bathroom and air conditioning. The spacious master bedroom upstairs is accessed via a fourth bedroom with 2 single beds, ideal for children. Pool heating is available on request at an extra cost.



This villa was built around an old carob tree which now shades part of the terrace. Casa Carob benefits from a private, elevated plot of approximately one hectare with stunning views across the vineyards and rolling countryside to the Algarve coast.



From Casa Carob you can take lovely walks; within about half an hour you can reach the typical fishing village of Carvoeiro, which has a wide choice of excellent seafood restaurants and a beautiful beach. For golfers, the Algarve's excellent Gramacho and Pinta courses can be reached within a 10-minute drive.

Beautiful villa set in a semi rural location

The villa is set in a semi rural location, car hire would be recommended but not essential, however the closest town is a 5minutes drive away so transport would be needed (ie taxi), array of beaches near by within a 10 minute drive, multiple water parks within 10-40minutes drive, some lovely cafes and restaurants at the closest town Carvoeiro approx 5 minutes drive but being semi rural makes a perfect holiday for your own privacy and comfort. The Villa is well maintained, beautiful pool, comfortable outside and inside seating areas, cleaner came a few times during our stay and was very welcoming and went above and beyond! :) We travelled with my 16 month old son and were provided with a cot, high chair and toys which makes your stay more relaxable, the only down fall would be the layout of the property where there is no separate toilet (all toilets are in bedrooms) this makes it a little difficult for anyone staying in the main bedroom upstairs, when having to pass through the 4th bedroom to use the toilet/shower so any children sleeping may be woken, however it has its advantages as if your child were young and wanted to help themselves to a drink etc in the night they would have to exit through the main bedroom upstairs so would be heard, despite this we would recommend and would return, Thankyou for a lovely week :)

Wonderfully clean and well appointed Villa. Perhaps a little dated for some tastes but accommodation is excellent. Nice pool with fabulous views. Management extremely efficient and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Fantastisch verblijf op prachtige plek

We hebben met twee volwassenen en vijf kinderen, tieners, een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit fijne van alle gemakken voorziene huis op een mooie plek in de buurt van cavoeiro. Hostes en contact met hen was ook vriendelijk en snel. Echt een top en centrale plek in het mooie Algarve.

Villa sympa située au calme

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour. Villa très fonctionnelle, belle piscine. Pour table de 6 alors que nous sommes 8 n'a pas été gênant puisque nous avons ajouté 1 table de jardin au bout et avons donc pu prendre nos repas tous les 8 à la même tablée. Par contre, il n'y avait que 4 bains de soleil pour 8 personnes, ce qui est un peu juste à mon sens. Plage accessible à pied à environ 2 km. Centre ville et autre plage à moins de 10 min.

Le logement est prévu pour 8 personnes, mais autour de la piscine il n'y a qu' une table pour 6 et pour les bains de soleil uniquement 4 transats et 2 chaises longues. Donc pour les deux autres, il faudra s'allongé et manger parterre... Attention il y a deux chambre en enfilade avec une seul salle de bain, c'est un peu gênant. Pour le reste rien à redire, c'était parfait.
