I was greeted and checked in by a very helpful and kind night receptionist, who assisted me with my bags after the luggage trolley was found to be needing repair. Daytime staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was modest, but adequate, with coffee and a variety of juices, cereals, breads (and toaster), fruit, and waffle maker. Excellent, clean room with high ceiling, excellent A/C and large flatscreen TV; some signs of wear and repair to the walls and in the bath. Overall an excellent value, in a convenient location just off I-71 north of Louisville, in a beautiful area with a famed state park, the Ohio River, and much more to explore. Excellent, locally-owned restaurants beyond fast food fare are nearby, and travelers in need of shopping options will find a Kroger supermarket and Walmart just down the street.

Breakfast is not good it will be better to get food somewhere. The floor had gaps and noises. The shower was samll and had a funny smell. The bed is hard as a board. The tv is very small and no elevators. I don't recommend to stay

Great check-in experience directly with the new owner. Rooms need updating, which will be underway soon. Rooms need teabags as well as coffee. The breakfast could use some love. Convenient to the highway, food options nearby. No smell of smoke or weed, which of course is the result of inconsiderate guests, not the hotel management. AC was quiet and worked well. Comfortable bed in 202.

Bath shower needs repair, better cleaning. Bath door damage/needs replaced. Flooring was stickie/ felt dirty thru out. Bed head board was poorly cleaned. Air conditioner very loud. Could had more towels and wash clothes. Soap dispenser in shower poor dispenser. Paint color very dark, felt like a dungeon.

Buy a tent, and find a nice flat spot on the road!

Checking in was good! The gentleman at the desk seemed to be very dedicated. That is the end of the good, now. The coffee pot in my room was sticky and had water in it already, from who knows how long! The breakfast bar gave you choices of light toast or dark toast. Grape jelly or no jelly. Water or apple juice. Dry cereal or no cereal, and individual Hostess mini muffins or no mini muffins. Thankfully, several close restaurants close. Went to Wendy’s at 7:30 AM to eat. Return to find my key doesn’t work! 11:00 AM check out and key inoperable at 8:15!!! Take shower and start to load vehicle, asked by staff “you check out….” I replied “No, not yet. I still have a few things to do.” I return to my room to be locked out again! THEN chastised for asking why! Was told “YOU CHECK OUT. YOU CHECK OUT” Mind you, it is still not yet 10:00 AM…an hour before check out! When I left my room, I mentioned to the staff person that I was ready, and should I leave my key in the room or take to the desk. I was told to take it to the desk. While I waited 21 minutes, the desk person berated another guest because he had the audacity (at 10:00 AM) to ask about coffee! Many guest and I jokingly asked each other “get enough to eat? How about coffee?” DO NOT WASTE your time and money with this hotel! Any business that advertises or associates with this business should be ashamed and held suspect.
