My husband and I normally do not complain or have had an awful experience during our trip but we were highly disappointed with the management company this home was booked through, Itrip NC Beaches. I initially booked this home because of the photos, reviews and location but unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay for either of us and I would want other guests to know before they consider booking to stay here as well. The listing said there was a gas grill, cooking utensils, washer/dryer, etc. When we went to use the gas grill only 1 burner worked and when I texted the company I did not get a response until 24 hours later that someone would come out and I thought would fix it. They sent a young man out around 4pm who looked at it and said yes it doesn't work and probably needs replaced or a part and said they would follow up and never did. So we could not use the grill our entire stay and no follow up from management. There were no cooking pans to cook our food so I had to go out and purchase them. This is something that should be checked between guests. Sinks were clogged. I went to use the washing machine and our clothes came out with sand all throughout them. Even after running the wash several times after there was still sand. The home was dirty and not clean. My husbands socks were brown. Also, while there are shades throughout the home somehow they were missing on the main floor area/living room area so at night there is no privacy at all.
