This property is located two blocks to Scenic Road and Carmel Beach and three blocks to the entrance to Pebble Beach®. The 1,549 sf cottage’s blend of original features and modern touches make it a delightful retreat in a prime location. Steps to the white sands of Carmel Beach, this delightful, mid-century cottage enjoys a prime location, one of the larger front yard spaces in the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea, and a wealth of charm.
Living / Dining / Kitchen Enjoy some Carmel Bay views from this mostly original, yet immaculately maintained Carmel abode with hardwood floors in the main living areas and carpeted bedrooms.
The combined living and dining areas are spacious and well-appointed with ample seating, a vintage mid-century modern fire drum fireplace and a balcony deck overlooking the newly turfed and fully enclosed front yard. Enjoy peeks of the ocean from the writer’s desk and large picture windows, The living room has a sleeper sofa in case any weekend guests come to visit you during your stay.
The kitchen has an abundance of counter space, an electric range, side by side refrigerator with water dispenser, and a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with seating for 6.
Outside A private side patio has stylish outdoor furnishings including a dining table that seats 6 and propane BBQ grill, perfect for all fresco dining. The front yard is fully enclosed and has a large artificial turf lawn.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king bed, TV and an en suite bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination. Bedroom #2 has a king bed. The full hall bathroom has a tiled standing shower. Additional sleeping options for overnight guests: The living room has a fold out sleeper sofa.
A stacked washer and dryer are located in the garage.
Off-street parking for one vehicle in driveway. The garage is not available for guest parking. Street parking can be limited near the house and is available on a first come, first served basis.
Well-behaved dogs are possible with Homeowner pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. The front yard with large lawn area is fully fenced.
