I would always stay a the Royal Hotel, because the Staff are very friendly and helpful ,plus the hotel is in the right place highly recommended

When arriving to our room we noticed stains on our bed we looked past this however in the morning when having a shower the water was very cold. Decided to have a cup of tea and the milk looked off , had lumps in it. No one asked us on reception how our stay was . I left a note in the room and also the cups with the milk in so they could see. We stayed here on 13/1/24

Very very strict about the 15.00 check in, I arrived at 14.40 but had to wait until 15.00, this isn't a complaint but I found it odd as the same staff were there are 14.40 as at 15.00 and nothing changed

Thankyou for making us feel welcome and an upgraded treat aswell. Hotel is in the centre of Cardiff which was so convenient to the shops and castle which we visited.
