There was no soap at all in the room, very little shampoo in the shower. The person taking care of the breakfast was extremely rude with a bad attitude. We spoke to a manager on duty and they didn’t seem to care about the complaint either.

The bed was quite comfortable. The room was shabby, the carpet was absolutely filthy to the extent that it made the room smell. Would never stay in this hotel again.

We had to wait three hours to check in because there were no rooms available until 6pm. By then there was a large lineup of 6+ families ahead of us. Our room was damp and smelled mouldy. The shower was dingy, with red mould between tiles. The bedding smelled like cigarette smoke (we are non-smoking) and I’m pretty sure we were given double beds, not the queen beds we paid for. None of the electrical outlets in the room worked and the hair dryer was broken. I was there for business and couldn’t charge any of my electronics, but I thankfully had power banks on hand. The dog next door barked constantly and the rooms were overall very noisy. Breakfast was awful, barely any food and it certainly wasn’t hot. The scrambled eggs looked like the powdered stuff from a pouch. Overall the hotel was very dirty and gross. Way over priced and the service was horrible. I asked for a late checkout since we couldn’t check in for over 3 hours and was told no because they were full the next day. Every issue they kept telling us to come back when the manager was there… yet there never was a manager during our stay.

The sliding door for room was jammed. The breakfast was bad. Improperly mixed scrambled eggs. Toaster not turned up to proper temperature. Juice dispenser empty. Butter rock hard. Little choice of food. Worst hotel breakfast we have ever had.

The room smelled horrible. We had to go purchase carpet spray and used the whole bottle thru our stay. The curtains had brown stains all over them and the carpet was full of stains. Beds were clean

Good for a quick stay

Front desk was swamped with a your but all in all the room was, as expected, from a Comfort Inn. The brekfast was okay but no butter, forks and a few other things. Staff was very good and helpful. Price was okay.

Its very close to square market St John and harbour, walkable distance about 10 minites. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and on our first morning they ran out of eggs for breakfast. But a good discount was kindly given to us by the manager and that covered breakfast cost outside the hotel. Great customer services! Next morning breakfast issue was resolved and they served very delicious omelette.
