This stunning family-friendly retreat is nestled in the Kent Downs, with footpaths from the doorstep and a large forest to explore nearby. Pull on your walking boots and discover further scenic routes in the area, such as the Canterbury to Whitstable Walk (8 miles), which offers beautiful coastal views and a chance to grab some fresh oysters in Whitstable. Alternatively, the Great Stour Way takes in the tranquil landscapes of the Kent Downs National Landscape. Pop into Canterbury Cathedral (11 miles), a UNESCO World Heritage site, where centuries of history and stunning architecture await you. If you're in the mood for some shopping, the Ashford Designer Outlet (15 miles) is packed with shops and eateries. Discover an animal-packed day out at Port Lympne (8 miles), where 650 rare and endangered species of wildlife can be spotted on safari, while at Howletts Wild Animal Park (12.5 miles) you can get up close to species in stunning parklands. Folkestone, Hythe Beach and Sunny Sands are all within 10 miles.
Entering the property, you'll discover an inviting hallway for kicking off walking boots and hanging up coats. Head straight into the cosy living room, where abundant, deep seating, an open fire, a Smart TV and plenty of books offer endless nights of entertainment. The spacious, modern kitchen/diner is equipped for group meals, while the solid wooden dining table is perfect for hosting celebratory dinners. Once everyone is well fed and watered, teenagers are sure to shoot off to the games room for a game of table tennis or table football, while avid readers may choose to get stuck into a book on the sofa in the snug. There's also a Smart TV here for that added level of homely comfort. When it's time to turn in, the first of the bedrooms – a well-appointed queen – is on the ground floor. There is a separate bathroom with a bath and invigorating walk-in shower. Three of the four bedrooms are located on the first floor: one king-size, one double and one bedroom with two low single beds and a super king-size bed (which can be made up as two singles on request). All bedrooms are decorated in stunning neutral tones, which are sure to ease you off to sleep. Finishing off this floor is another contemporary bathroom.
The beautiful surroundings continue to the outside of the property, with a large lawned garden and patio area with seating. Gather outside for piping hot lattes on sunny mornings and tipples on balmy evenings. The hot tub in its dedicated shelter is a fantastic addition, while the chef of your group can show off their best work on the handy BBQ. Completing the property is parking for four cars.

The hot tub will be turned off at 9pm. The hot tub is located at the end of the garden, which is accessed by walking up through the garden. We suggest you bring outdoor shoes and dressing gowns if using the hot tub.
