Great boutique resort. Recommended.

Overall we had a great stay and I was very impressed by the service the staff provided. Front desk, pool service staff, and the restaurant staff all did an amazing job taking care of their customers. The only downfall was the water temperature in the room. Also food was delicious. Breakfast and diner.

we had read varying reviews on this resort and were pleasantly surprised. We thought it was excellent value for money. Have come to the conclusion that some people want to pay 3 star prices then want 5 star facilities.

First off I can't give the staff that work here enough compliments. They were absolutely amazing!!! Whatever you needed they were quick to please you. Claudia, yadaira, Alicia, and kenia were great letting us know were everything was and what times certain restaurants were open. There wasn't a time we're I didn't see the staff cleaning, this place is spotless!! The spinach juice served at the palm terrace was the best juice I've ever had in my life. There was a grocery store and an amazing restraunt directly across from the hotel so we didn't have travel by car to pick anything up. The view of the ocean in the morning is breathtaking and the breeze that flows through the entrance of the hotel is incredible. I definitely recommend this place!!

I reserved a room with 2 beds...when we arrive they gave us one bed. It took 2 days to get us in to a room with 2 double beds. The room they eventually gave us had no working air conditioning for the last 3 days.....

Check in took well over an hour and the first room had one bed so we had to get another room which took even more time.standing at the front desk or waiting at the elevator was like a wind tunnel. Horrible! And speaking of elevators they didn't work the last few days we were there so we had to use the employees elevator. Two of the nights we were there the music was so loud (and so bad) we were no able to sleep till after midnight. We are seniors so we don't stay up partying every night. The hotel itself is old and run down but it is clean. The beach was far to windy to sit out. Everything is very far away from the hotel. The staff tried but not hard enough. No apologies for anything that went wrong.

Awesome hotel

Really great hotel. Amazing location. Lush pool. Breakfast was really good and as we ate it so late we didn’t need lunch so saved money and just ate in the evening. Very helpful lady on the desk answered lots of our questions. Sunset drinks for free we’re great. Very helpful staff in the restaurant looked after some medication of mine which needed to be stored in the fridge. Really Recommend this hotel

Property was priced correctly for quality. Modest but nice accommodations. Room was nice, but not luxurious. We had ocean view in the front, and ugly view of service yard from the walkway to the room in the back. The Restaurant was open late, which was nice. The food was good and reasonably priced. All of the staff were very friendly. We would stay here again if looking for a lower priced room.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food - especially at Sushi & Martini Bar. Very nice room with very comfortable bed. Beach loungers include large pillow-like beds - very easy to nap in. Relaxing place to vacation.

you can fool me once

well, this hotel is in a rough shape! There is a note on the patio door: 'keep the door closed all the time" - on the first day we closed it from the outside only to find out that there was no handle to get back in. We cried for help about an hour and staff kept waiving to us back believing, I guess it was tequila waiving. The bathroom tap kept shooting water out the bathroom door so did the shower head.The night lights were beside the bed but not connected and no plugs anywhere near. The coffee maker spilled coffee everywhere, except into the jar. When replaced, the jar opening was not aligned with the handle and poring hot liquid allover your hands and legs. Do not approach restaurant hostess or the lady receptionist without a baseball bat or at least a yard stick. The cleaning and front staff saved the grace. The view was fabulous.

The building is old and needs some major updating. There was no where for children to play other than the one pool. The staff were excellent. The went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.
