What a wonderful place that was off the beaten path. Loved the Lake Superior views and the property. Perfect for relaxing and seeing our MTU student. Icing on the cake was two nights of Northern Lights!!

This home exceeded our expectations. The location provides quiet and solitude. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and organized for preparing and serving meals. Beds, chairs and sofas are all very comfortable. There were games for us to play, baby/pet gates if needed. The hosts have provided their guests with everything needed for a relaxed northwoods get away. This property was one of the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Communication was excellent. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

This was a perfect location for a relaxing mini vacation as we hosted a dinner party! The kitchen was spacious and functional so dinner was made with ease. We had a fire pit we all enjoyed with a perfect secluded forest backdrop. It was clean and close to lots of hiking and for the beach.

Robin's Nest was absolutely amazing. The views were stunning! The space was cozy and inviting. The organization of supplies was amazing as well, everything was so easy to find! Very kind hosts, even reached out when the possibility of northern lights was in the forecast. The bathtub was fantastic! The mattress in the master was very comfortable. Lately, check in and check out was easy and clear directions! Just amazing hosts and make your entire stay wonderful!

This home has everything you could possibly need. It was cozy and comfortable, very roomy, beds were super comfortable and it’s close to great XC ski trails, which is what we came up for. I bet it’s fabulous in the summer! Maybe we’ll have to come back and see!

We had a wonderful stay at Robin’s Nest. The space was perfect for our women’s winter getaway. The hosts communicated clearly and quickly; the photos and descriptions of the spaces were accurate, and check-in and check- out was effortless . The view of Lake Superior from the hilltop over the trees was beautiful. The remote setting, yet within close proximity to Calumet, and Swedetown Trails, fit our needs nicely. After a morning ski at Swedetown, an afternoon visit to the Mt. Bohemia Spa mid-week was thoroughly relaxing and enjoyed by those of us that went! I am already envisioning a future stay at Robin’s Nest - in a different season, perhaps, when the Keweenaw offers a whole host of additional activities to experience! A great place to stay in the Keweenaw.

The Robin’s Nest was a wonderful place to stay while I was working. It was beautiful and even decorated with a Christmas tree for the holidays. The home was clean and had everything that you could imagine needing. I also enjoyed seeing the various deer outside and the display of wonderful rocks from the areathat I had to take pictures of. I would definitely return and would highly recommend staying whether you’re on a vacation or working.

We had a great stay at the Robin's Nest! The quiet remote location was perfect for star gazing and quiet mornings. The home was spacious and comfortable for our family. We appreciated how clean and organized everything was, from the kitchen, to the bathrooms. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond. We had quick access to the Keweenaw Peninsula and all the fall colors and rocky beaches we wanted to see. We would recommend a stay here and hope to return in the future!

Our stay at Robin's Nest was absolutely perfect! It was a memoria trip as it was the one-year anniversary of my father's passing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for the two dogs to run and we enjoyed the view of Lake Superior from a distance and enjoyed some nights around the campfire. My Dad loved upper Michigan and we are hoping to make this our yearly memorial trip. It was a short drive to Lake Supeior as well as to Houghton but was very secluded. We cannot thank you enough for hospitality. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay at The Nest. Some of our favorite features include a very roomy home that accommodated our party of 7 easily, nice and private, loved the firepit, close to the beach for rock hunting and we had the opportunity to see some awesome Northern Lights during our stay. The host was great, place was clean and would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed the fact it was so quiet. It may be the time of year, but we are already tentatively planning a spring visit to family and this is top of the list! Also, the fact they even have a couple blankets to the side for pets who sleep on the bed was a nice touch.
