Off the beaten track

Lovely accommodating host, cottage spotlessly clean, well stocked, with a very comfortable bed! We loved the seclusion and the river was a big bonus. Just note it is 7 kms from the main road on a dirt road, but easily manageable. Highly recommend! (:

Peace and serenity

The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if you want a really peaceful break then this place is ideal. Highly recommended!
