Amazing stay, great service, comfy beds, pool is nice and clean, breakfast options are awesome and yummy. Great experience, definitely will be back. Walking distance to the esplanade as well.

On vacation with wife. We enjoyed the nearby walkable attractions (casino, snorkel wharf, convenience store and numerous restaurants). The washer and dryer was convenient to do a load of wash in the middle of our travels.

It is a convenient place to stay if going to events at the Cairns Convention Centre. Only thing I found the pillows to be a little hard.

The hotel room was very nice. Check-in was quick and easy. The only reason I gave this hotel 4* is because of the breakfast. The food was very good but the pricing could be better. Two of us staying at the hotel, hotel charged 30$ each for a buffet breakfast. I believe guests should be charged half that price.

To start up with there is no internet or tv facility we got notification about outage in the last minute, and we can't book for alternative accommodation at the last minute. With kids staying for 4 nights without internet or tv is nightmare and staff don't have any ETA. Breakfast was very ordinary not even have proper juice same breakfast everyday and not worth the cost. we got power outage and surprised to see so called 4 star hotel don't have generator lifts didn't work need to climb top floor, air condition was not working till power came back. we requested late check out which was offered till 11am and after that they mentioned will charge every hour. Rooms are not full, but no compensation given for all the inconvenience caused and we felt we stayed in 2- or 3-star budget hotel not a 4-star luxury hotel.

People yelling and fighting from 11pm to 3am, room phone did not work to call reception. Finally got a hold of someone spoke to the other people but the bad behaviour kept myself and room next door up.

Nice pool and room, was able to wash our clothes whilst we was there. Big scary bug chased us around the pool but not Benson Hotels fault! Would recommend.
