Buyer beware. Not as described. Owner refused to give money back. Would never recommend this place. This is advertised as a villa with an open concept kitchen and living room and dining area. Here's what it actually is: three hot concrete bedrooms. They do not connect inside at all. All with out side locks. A concrete patio with a sink a refrigerator and two metal shelves. A table with some benches, and a loveseat and outdoor chair for a "living room". That's it folks.
Almost immediately your host will come off the VRBO app and try to go on to WhatsApp. Do not follow him. VRBO has a rule that anything outside of VRBO communication is not admissible should there be a dispute.
Upon realizing this was substantially different than what was described and realizing that this was unsafe for my young daughter to be locked in a room that I could not access from the inside, I immediately contacted him and he told me that he would put me in a room tonight with a bunk bed so that she could be in the room with me and the next day he would come and he would fix it. That was the last time I could get in touch with him.
The room that we moved into had exposed wires in the shower, and a big chunk of tile fell onto my foot while I was using the sink. Following an incredibly hot and uncomfortable night, the next morning he was a no show. After trying for 3 to 4 hours to get in touch with him, we gave up and left. VRBO was no help.
I'm now out almost $4,000.
