A good place to stay, much larger than we expected. Basic but good, the only thing that lets it down is it feels like the bathroom is from the 80s and needs replacing.

Old School Motel

No frills renovated motel in the centre of Byron Bay within walking distance of everything. Very clean room recerntly renovated. Very handy onsite parking. Loved staying here!

Right in the heart of Byron, one block from the beach, this motel was excellent. Check in was at the next door Waves hotel. Parking outside the room was easy. The room where 3 adults stayed was very comfortable, lovely comfy beds, super clean. There was a fridge, kettle toaster tv iron ironibg board and hairdryer. No need to bring anything! Great spacious shower with complimentary toiletries. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The location, staff and room were great, the noise was not great due to the bins being emptied each morning we were there at 6am and one night being kept awake by drunk loud youths shouting and screaming until 6am. Just unlucky I suppose!

Overpriced motel in Byron Bay. Bathroom was in very bad shape and there were lot of ants and they did not even bother to apply some insect spray. When I complained to reception , responded saying it’s because of wet weather. Pathetic experience after paying premium money for stay. Worst part is nobody available after 7 pm to address this kind of issue so incase of emergency you rely on so called security service which is chargeable service as on call. Do not waste your money, go find better place to stay.

The location was great! Very close to the beach and shops. We were there during Cyclone Alfred and due to weather we couldn’t get out much because of high winds and rain. Shops had closed down with a couple of cafes open, much to our relief. As a result we were confined to our room for long periods. We had several power cuts and in TOTAL darkness!! There was only one comfortable seat, two plastic miss-matched chairs so sitting on bed for comfort. We paid £608 for 5 nights and despite the Cyclone I believe it to be overpriced. I used small towels to soak up the defrosting fridge in power cuts and had to ask for fresh ones as a result. Limited contact from from hotel reception.

Great location and very spacious inside the motel. Two minute walk to the beach and all the local restaurants were very close by. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area.
