In the small village of Nolde in Southern Jutland lies Noldes Hygge Hjem—an authentic farmhouse surrounded by fields and open landscapes. Here, you'll find 209 m² of space that can accommodate up to eight guests, spread across three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an additional restroom. The house is therefore well-suited for families, multigenerational groups, and friends who want to holiday together. As you step through the gate and walk across the old courtyard, a sense of calm quickly settles in. There are no close neighbours here, and you’ll have the large garden and secluded courtyard all to yourselves.
The farm’s history dates back to 1610, while the main house was rebuilt after a fire in the 1800s. Inside, you’ll find old doors, patterned wallpaper, antique furniture, and small details that seem to each hold a story of their own. The décor takes you back to a bygone era, yet the house also offers all the modern amenities you’ll need during your stay. The spacious kitchen provides plenty of room to cook together, and in the dining room, you can gather around the table beneath the chandelier. Perhaps your phones will stay put a little longer than usual while you light candles, pull out a game, or let the conversation flow. When you arrive, we'll have made the beds and readied the towels. Outside, the kids can explore the garden, swing, jump on the trampoline, or play on the lawn. In the courtyard, you can settle down among the flowers and greenery, and on cool evenings, you can gather around the campfire as darkness falls over the fields. The area around Nolde is perfect for walks and bike rides along the fields and the stream. Tønder is about 12 kilometres away, with its old houses, charming streets, and Drøhses Hus. You can also visit Møgeltønder, stroll down the beautiful castle street, and stop by Schackenborg Castle and the café in the Herskabsstalden. Nolde’s Hygge Hjem is for those of you who long for peace, space, and time together—and for holiday days when everything can move at a slightly slower pace.
