Reasonably sized room for multiple people. Rooms are above the bar so there's noise. Breakfast is good and it's good that it can be delivered the night before. Hotel location is good for the penguin viewing and in town.

Unexpected nice hotel.clean bedding and towels. Big tub ,spotless shower place.generous in room drink provided.Nice breakfast, milk and juice in glass bottles! Hotel did try to provide good service. Also Ocean view is a big plus. So close to night time penguins viewing too.I am very happy to have close encounters with the penguins for free without commercial tour and crowds.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pros - very clean and spacious room. The bathroom amenities and tea/coffee station were great. Check in was quick and friendly. The included continental breakfast was more than enough to start the day. The cons - there is no reserved parking for guests. If you arrive during lunch or dinner, it’s busy with people visiting the pub (and they park terribly) multiple cars taking up two spaces and when you need to unload a bunch of luggage and a baby it’s almost impossible. Minor issue but the coffee cups were not restocked the next day and the vacuuming was not the best during the cleaning service.

The Beach Hotel was a well appointed, central location in Burnie. My room was clean and well presented. My only problem was trying to work out the TV - probably a bit too high tech for me. Not a major issue. I would definitely stay here again!
