First impression: blast from the past. Pine-Sol smell pretty heavy in lobby and room. BUT! They have updated furniture in rooms,room was as pictured here (lobby is plast from past, 50's) and they are very clean. And the staff was so wonderful, friendly and helpful. When we arrived my kids looked up reviews online, and immediatly were concerned about drugs and shady people, but we did not see anything and everyone else staying seemed totaly normal! They offer breakfast in the lobby and we were impressed at the variety of pastry, fruit, yogurt, cereals, bagels, breakfast sandwiches etc..One strange thing this was there were no fitted sheets on the bed, only flat sheets tucked in.We did not use shower, didnt look so good,and didnt want my barefeet in there. Other than that, not too bad of a stay, definatly friendly service, clean, pretty OK breakfast.(and did not see any shady business as some reviews online said)
