Entspannung pur

Das tollste an diesem Objekt ist seine Lage: die Anzeige im Internet wirbt damit und übertreibt keineswegs - absolut ruhig gelegen, Blick auf den Deich, Natur pur, einfach toll zum Entspannen und Erholen. Dazu kommt eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die auch bei auftretenden Problemen eine schnelle und gute Lösung gefunden hat. Ein kleines Begrüßungsgeschenk wartete ebenfalls auf uns. Der große Garten mit vielen Obstgehölzen ist frei zugänglich und alles kann benutzt und gegessen werden - Äpfel, Pflaumen, Birnen, Kirschen, Stachelbeeren usw. Auch Gartenmöbel ist vorhanden, auch wenn das schon seine besten Jahre hinter sich hat. Ebenso kann das Verbrauchsmaterial benutzt werden, ohne dass man es auffüllen muss: Waschmittel, Klopapier, Küchenrolle, Gewürze, Seife, Geschirrspülmittel, selbst Filtertüten und Kaffee. Ebenso sind Handtücher und Bettwäsche da. Einfach Klasse! Man muss sich keine Sorgen machen, wenn man sonntags anreist, es fehlt erstmal nix! Super! Im Schuppen stehen neben ein paar älteren Fahrrädern eine Tischtennisplatte, die benutzbar ist, und ein funktionierender Grill mit Holzkohle und Anzünder. Alles nicht neu, aber gut benutzbar. Auch ein Geschirrspüler und eine Waschmaschine sind vorhanden - auch schon älter, funktionieren aber. Das Haus selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Teile der Einrichtung auch. Das hat durchaus Charme. Manches davon hätte allerdings auch schon mal erneuert werden können. Wir bewohnten die größere der beiden Wohnungen, die beiden Einzelschlafzimmer liegen im 1.Stock - sie sind über eine Treppe erreichbar, die nicht jeder schafft (steil und schmale Stufen) - kleine Kinder und ältere oder vielleicht gehbehinderte Menschen können da nicht rauf und runter. Dass es in der Gegend schonmal Spinnweben und Co gibt, ist klar, doch an manchen Stellen, z.B. an der Lampe überm Esstisch in der Küche oder auch im Schlafzimmer an der Decke, waren die schon deutlich älter als nur ein zwei Tage. Auch die Ränder in der Dusche hätten einer gründlicheren Reinigung bedurft. Auch außen herum müsste mal etwas mehr gemacht werden als Rasen mähen. Alles keine Katastrophe, aber die Kleinigkeiten machens eben manchmal ... Vorsicht bei der Einfahrt - die ist ziemlich schmal!!! Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war für uns nicht ganz ausgewogen - für den Preis erwartet man einfach etwas mehr. Trotzdem haben wir den Urlaub genossen, denn wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Ferien abseits der Hektik

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im hohen Norden genossen. Im Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist einfach, aber praktisch eingerichtet. Der Platz ums Haus war auch für unsere beiden Hunde toll. Die Ferienregion hat uns gut gefallen, für uns Schweizer war fast alles neu. Die ganze Gegend dürfte allerdings schon ein wenig hundefreundlicher sein, die Deiche dürfen auch mit angeleinten Hunden nicht betreten werden, auch wenn sich dort kein einziges Tier aufhält.
