Staff not exactly friendly but that may be the language barrier. Rooms are large and clean with extra blankets. Temperature is centrally controlled so made use of them. Breakfast was poor. No eggs, orange drink instead of orange juice, mainly bread and pastries and cereal.

La peor experiencia que he tenido,horrible. Tienen un guardia en la entrada para que no puedas pasar nada de comida ni bebida, teniendo una pequeña nevera en la habitacion, te multan con 100.00 dólares o te cancelan la estadia sin devolucion del dinero. En la entrada estan tres o cuatro personas haciendo nada y muy mal entrenadas. El perimetro del hotel es decepcionante, sucio y mal mantenido. Si me preguntaran a mi sobre la permanencia de este hotel en Expedia yo recomendaria que lo eliminaran de su lista ya que no ofrece nada de lo que un turista espera.

La verdad es que tuvimos una experiencia terrible. Por un lado, la habitación estaba bien pero nos encontramos con la hermosa presencia de una cucharacha en el freezer en el momento que lo abrimos. Por otro lado, y para nosotras el mas importante, es que alquilamos ahí principalmente por la pileta, ya que en la página decía que en octubre ya estaba abierta y nos encontramos con la sorpresa de que a 18 de octubre (ya bastante avanzadito el mes) seguía sin estar habilitada. Me parece cualquiera teniendo en consideración que no fue algo que asumimos o que no nos fijamos, sino que en la misma página donde saqué mi reserva lo dice. Basicamente me cagaron y es una lastima porque por la atención del front desk y lo lindo que es el sector de la pileta nos hubiera encantado volver, pero lo dudo bastante siendo que me cagaron con mi primera visita. Envío fotos de ambas cosas que te estoy comentando, ojalá solucionen sus problemitas de comunicación con el publico porque la verdad me rompo el lomo para pagar casi 200 lucas una noche en un hotel para no tener lo único que iba buscando, la pileta. Encima, cuando les comento esto me quieren boludear diciendome q es solo en "temporada de verano" cuando en la web especifica OCTUBRE A ABRIL. Una pena

This hotel is two parts connected together one part is apartment which is very old building with very old and cheap furniture which they are getting apart, the bathtub was old ,towels very dirty and no hot water, the breakfast was not buffet was just pot of coffee and old few sweets , the staff were not friendly, and were not giving a damn .We noticed that it was very noisy they don't said a word except housekeeper they were helpful to give us at list fresh towel .I don't recommended.

Centralized Airconditioning System

I would characterize my stay at GrandView Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina as quite disappointing. I came at a time when the seasons were changing from winter to spring. Now, I stayed for a week and half of that week was disastrous. I cannot stay in a hot or warm room because I have a heart condition and I always ensure that the hotel I pick has airconditioning. It was annoying when they have these airconditioning dials in every room, but basically they are there to regulate the room temperature and not really for A/C. My room was like a sauna for the first night which made me just open the windows because I can't sleep and it's already 4am. I complained thinking this was just a broken A/C to be checked and repaired. The next night they said it was already fixed, but nothing still the same. I couldn't sleep until 4am. I spoke with someone at the reception and they told me that the building's HVAC is centralized, so in colder months it's all just heating and no cooling! I told them I have this health condition that I cannot be in a warm room and their answer to me was pretty much dishearting for me to repeat here. They said I can just turn off the AC/heating and just open the windows! How ridiculous of an answer is that from their management! The room also doesn't have any refrigerator, so you cannot have cold drinks such as cold water in a hot day of walking around and exploring the city. There are no complimentary water bottles either and no coffee just

Nice hotel but I wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel by UK standards. Even after checking in online it took 15 mins to check in at reception. Our "Superior double room" was very basic. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee provided. There's a fridge but no water or other drinks in it. The room was clean and the bed was big and comfy. The swimming pool is not available out of season, it's outdoors. Breakfast was very basic; Pastries, bread, cheese and ham, fruit and yoghurt. On the weekend it was very busy. Location is good for exploring the city.

Flew in early morning, 7:00am, not only they not allowed me get and early checkin, they were giving rooms to people that came later than me and my room was not ready until 3 pm. Seems like they delayed my room everytime I asked, and only asked when i got there and then at 1 because they told me and then at 2 when checkin was scheduled. Then the bar has nothing but 2 types or beer (not even locals) and one cheap wiskey that only they know. Not going there again.
