ARC Recoleta Review! NEVER, would I stay here again (for too many reasons that this word count will allow). Outside of the fact that this property served defrosted frozen food in its restaurant, the place had nary a lick of amenities (we had to call and go down to the front desk five or six times just to get some clothes hangers for our room. It seemed they’d hoped we'd just give up on our request after a while. We didn't). Then there was the banging noises all throughout the day into the wee hours of the night--- so nice for a restful sleep on vacation. Finally, the pièce de résistance was the main front desk staff which consisted of a bunch of condescending, borderline hostile, gossipy men. It's interesting the things people will say when they think you don't understand their language (I understood it all). I have been all over the world from Morocco, Japan, Hawaii, Australia to Spain to name a few and I have never seen such rudeness. Thankfully, the majority of the Argentinian people we encountered out and about were quite decent! What a bad batch at the Arc Recoleta's front of house (with the exception of Rocío who is just starting out and Matias while not a very warm individual, was appropriately professional)! These other staff members could learn a thing or two from them or perhaps consider leaving the hospitality industry altogether!!!
