Nice Apartment but Noisy
The apartment is in a great location for being able to walk to the main areas of the beach front and also the Old Town. The owners are friendly, the apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable.
The bathroom is nice and clean but the shower pressure is quite low, so it took a while to rinse shampoo/conditioner out!
The kitchenette is very basic, with an outdoor sink and a 2-ring hob on the balcony. However there is plenty of crockery/cutlery and the fridge freezer works well.
The only real downside to this apartment is the noise at night time. There is a nightclub a couple of doors down and although you can't really hear the people or music too much during the night, the bin truck comes along at around 5am every morning to empty the bottle bins. You have the noises of the truck reversing, the men shouting to each other and the bottles being moved from bin to truck and being crushed. This would go on for anywhere between 10 minutes and an hour.
I wouldn't stay here again, which is a shame because the apartment itself was perfect for what we needed, I just need more sleep!!
