This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The owner is friendly and helpful.
If you want perfection in terms of power showers and up to date kitchenware this cottage is not for you. However, if you want lots of lovely thoughtful touches like flowers, cake, jam and little thoughtful touches such as tissues and excellent storage in the bathroom, bedroom, sitting room and kitchen you will love it. We found it more comfortable than other more newly modernised cottages because the small details like good lighting by the bed and convenient power sockets added to our comfort.
There is no specific garden area designated to the cottage, but our dog was able to go out into the garden alone without mishap. The garden is a delight. In March the wild primroses and clusters of daffodils cheered us up and the frequent visits from garden birds added to our enjoyment.
The sea view is obscured by trees, but without that shelter the garden would not be possible. The views over the countryside around the cottage are stunning.
