This Bude family holiday home is ideally situated in a peaceful area and is just a ten minute stroll to Bude's beautiful beaches or the bustling town centre. There's ample space to relax and unwind across the home, which enjoys airy modern interiors and all the mod cons.

Inside

Upon entering Rock House, the bright and airy entrance hall welcomes you in - a feature present in just about every room as light flows throughout the home. To the left, you'll find the well equipped kitchen diner, a fabulous space where family and friends can enjoy planning the day's adventures over breakfast or whipping up evening meals. Through the double doors and into the living room, you'll find comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, as well as a wood burner for those cooler wintery evenings. The large sliding glass doors lead out onto the garden and are perfect for opening up on those gorgeous summer days. You'll also find a second lounge downstairs, which is wonderfully cosy and perfect for those wanting their own space, or for children to chill out in their own den where they'll find a selection of board games and PS3. Also downstairs is a utility room, WC and storeroom where beach items can be safely secured.

All bedrooms are located upstairs. The master king ensuite is wonderfully spacious, with a modern and bright bathroom with walk in shower. The second king bedroom is located at the front of the house and enjoys a fabulous Juliet balcony. Two cosy twin bedrooms complete the upstairs and you'll also find the family bathroom which has a separate walk in shower and bathtub — perfect for a relaxing soak after a day spent on the beach.

Outside

One of the best features about this Bude family holiday home is the outside space — a gorgeous sun trap. While away hours in the enclosed, sheltered garden where there's plenty of space for dogs to roam and children to play - the swing and slide set will certainly delight the little ones! After a day spent building sandcastles and rockpooling at Crooklets or Summerleaze beach, return to Rock House and make use of the warm outdoor shower to rinse off all that sand — an absolute treat — then enjoy a fabulous barbecue, dining alfresco on the decking whilst sipping sundowners.

There's so much to love about this Bude family holiday home — from the spacious and enclosed garden, ease of parking and warm outdoor shower to name just a few — Rock House has all the trappings for a seaside holiday. The close proximity to Bude Golf Course also means Rock House is a brilliant base for a golf trip with friends. Bude is a fantastic place to base yourself for exploring this part of Cornwall, with the town having a plethora of eateries to enjoy and numerous shops for those rainy days. If you're looking for adventure make sure to check out the numerous surf schools Bude has to offer such as Bude Surfing Experience; they offer surf, paddle boarding and SUP yoga lessons. This stretch of north Cornish coast has some of the most beautiful and wild places to explore which is best experienced by foot along the South West Coast Path — cliff top views and secret beaches are just waiting to be discovered...

Beautiful house- had everything you could need for a family holiday. The location was perfect- just a 10 min walk into town or to the nearest beach at Crooklets. The house was very clean, great garden and there was even a welcome pack on arrival. Great stay

Everything you need. Home from home

From the teenagers to the grand parents everyone enjoyed their stay at The Rock. A very special place set in a great position for both the town and the beach. Sad to go home.

Very comfortable stay at Rock House

Rock House is perfectly positioned for taking advantage of the beach and the town, both being in very easy walking distance. The house was really well-equipped and had plenty of room for 8 of us plus a dog, which was especially appreciated when the weather was not so great. We would definitely love to stay at Rock House again.

Great family holiday in Bude

A very well presented and equipped holiday home. Perfect location for beach and shops. Lovely sized garden and climbing frame/swing a huge hit with the kids. Outdoor shower a great addition. We have already booked again for next year!

Fabulous house really homely and spacious everything you could need and more, driveway parking for two large cars, secure garden for the children. Will book again. Rosie’s the local cafe is a must for a coffee while enjoying a sea view.

Amazing house

Rock House is an amazing place to stay. There is so much space, with 4 generous sized bedrooms, a lovely living room, kitchen diner and a snug room with PlayStation. The kitchen has everything you need and more. It's just a short walk to Crooklets beach, Summerleaze beach (dog friendly), Bude town centre and the canal.

Great stay in Bude

Rock House was ideal for our family - Grandparents, son and 2 granddaughters. It had everything we needed, was comfortable and roomy. Kitchen was well-equipped and dining facilities were sociable. Good showers and laundry room. It was also very close to Crooklets Beach - good surfing and great coffee! Only one slight negative - fridge/freezer a bit too small for all our food - I had cooked in advance!! We all had a lovely time.

Great holiday home

Great property, they’ve thought of most things! Kids loved the garden. Beds in single rooms could have been better. Had to turn the mattress on one of the singles as could feel springs…..not great for a 12 year old. Other than that everything was great! We would definitely visit again.

Great Property

Don't think twice, just book!

We have just arrived home from another fantastic week away in Bude. We have been twice before but have never had such a comfortable stay, and so close to the beach too. The accommodation was even better than described with loads of room for our large family. Our girls loved the garden and the twin rooms which are also very bright and airy. My son chose the bedroom with the opening door at the front and spent the rest of his time watching TV in the games room. Our children were also happy to find a fantastic internet connection with excellent WiFi coverage throughout the house. If you're looking for a home from home then don't look any further. You really won't be disappointed. Thank you from all of us

I cannot recommend Rock House and the team at Elite West enough. The house was great, plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 children. Everything you needed, kids loved the playroom and lots of thought to our 18 month old twins with the stair gates, high chairs and travel cots which were greatly appreciated! The location was also perfect, 10 mins to the beach and into Bude meaning many days of our holiday involved leaving the car at home and enjoying not having to fight everyone for parking! The hosts were also very helpful and attentive, we had a small issue with the washing machine and they couldn’t do enough to help. I will be back!

Fantastic time had by three generations. All amenities close by within walking distance. Lovely holiday home which enabled us all space. One of our best holidays!

Rock House is one of the best family self catering homes we have stayed in. The double rooms were very comfortable, and bathrooms beautifully clean and modern. The single beds are not really the best for large teenagers, but more suitable for younger children. Beautiful bed linen and towels. Kitchen is very well equipped and has a large table suitable for family meals. The sittjng rooms are really cosy and comfortable. Perfect for lazing, playing games, tv etc. Lots of games available. We used the BBQ in the garden and enjoyed an evening meal in the late sunshine. Great storage for wet suits, beach stuff and outside tap to wash off sand. Its only about 15 minutes to Summerleaze beach, close to Crooklets and good restaurants. This was one of our best holidays. Thank you James for always being available and making our stay such a success.

Rock House

Excellent in every way. The garden was a big plus with room for all. The children loved the swing and the grass to play on. The house itself was lovely, bright and airy with all facilities. We had good weather but the house would be a welcome home during the colder months.

Perfect property for a family albeit there was only the two of us & a dog on our stay. Great location within easy reach of Bude & some magnificent cliff walks.

Fantastic location for the beach and town

Fantastic house, very spacious, great garden for the kids and in an ideal location

Perfect base to explore the beautiful north Cornish coast, only 5 minutes walk to Crooklets beach which was brilliant for the kids and amazing at sunset, loved Rosie’s restaurant/bar. Overall an amazing stay, we wouldn’t normally return to the same house but this maybe an exception.

A True Rock

We have visited Bude on many occasions and love the area. Rock House is brilliantly situated just a short walk away from Crooklets beach, Summerleaze beach, the sea pool, town, canal and coastal path meaning we only needed to get in the car if we wished to venture a little further afield to visit Trelawny in Widemouth Bay for a lovely fresh cooked breakfast. The house itself was incredibly well maintained with great sized rooms for all the family. The separate lounge area is handy if you have older children who need a bit of a break from the adults as there is a television and games console in there. On some of the cooler nights which we experienced due to the time of year we visited the wood burner was most welcome. There was everything we needed and more to ensure we were able to cater for ourselves when not sampling the food on offer at The Brendon Arms, Rosie's cafe (which is great if you have a dog as they can go in too, as long as they are well behaved) and The Olive Tree all within easy walking distance of the house. The garden was well looked after and secure with some play equipment for smaller guests. The service offered to us by Elite West Holidays was second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending them and Rock House if you want a great holiday experience in this beautiful part of our country. We would definitely visit again.

A wonderful holiday in Bude

We stayed here for a week at Easter. Two families and two dogs. The house is wonderful very warm cosy and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the house itself has everything you need for a brilliant stay in Bude. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon for another relaxing enjoyable stay at Rock House.

Superb Holiday Accommodation

We stayed here for a week in August and certainly plan to return. Rock House is modern, generously furnished and well appointed. Everything was clean and in a good state of repair. Ample off street parking available for two vehicles on a quiet road within walking distance of the beach. The house has a lot of space. It has three WC and two bathrooms which means members of a larger party (we were 6) do not rub up against each other. The main lounge is open to the huge kitchen but can be closed with doors. There is a separate lounge with a TV and playstation which kept our eldest child entertained between beach visits. Additional separate areas allow items to be stored and washed/dried without intruding on the holiday experience. The kitchen has plenty of everything. We never ran short of utensils, glasses etc. The garden is large and securely enclosed, with play equipment. There is an outside tap here and a decked area with a table/benches for outside meals. Bude is a great place to visit and we return most years for the beaches, the surf and the eating out, all easily accomplished without driving anywhere. We love Rock House !
