I chose Hello Hotel because it's only a 5 minute walk from Gara de Nord railway station where I arrived from the airport late in the evening. It's also very convenient for the metro. The hotel itself is very good for the price, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast, served in an adjacent building, is good value but mandatory eating off the tray makes it feel like McDonalds.

It was ok for a short stay. A bit far from the old town, but very near the train station, which was what I wanted as I was getting the early train to Brasov the next day. A small cafe downstairs with delicious looking cakes, coffee and beer too. The place is clean. I reached earlier before 1pm and was allowed to check in, so was a bonus. Quick checkout too.

There is a ghetto around, gipsies, beggars. But the hotel is close to all transportation needed: bus, subway, train station. Hotel itself is very clean and cozy, modern and chic. I choose this hotel every trip to Bucharest, but I speak Romanian, I grow up close-by and I know the neighbourhood.

Very nice location, close to transportation but once you leave the hotel there are many bad things: Bucharest is in very bad condition, many abandoned buildings, central station is in advanced state of degradation, a lot of gipsies and graffiti everywhere. There Is not a single side walk without holes, if you are not paying attention, you can break your legs. Overall the city is so dirty, walls are full of graffiti, looks like a ghetto. Quality of people is low, drunk peasants, young low quality idiots. Hotel is fine.

Fantastic hotel within easy walking distance to many amenities and attractions. Very friendly staff with helpful advice and information. The buffet breakfast is excellent, so many different options to choose from. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Another fantastic stay at my favourite Bucharest hotel. Yes it’s only a 2 star hotel and therefore basic, but it takes care of my needs. Reception staff are efficient, kind and very friendly. Housekeeping is amazing, and my room was fully serviced every day. The hotel is a very short walk from all the major transport networks, Main train station is only a 3 minute walk away and the trams, buses and Metro only a few yards away.
