My wife and I were looking for a place to reset our lives. My father had recently passed away from a 3 year battle with cancer, and my wife is a recent cancer survivor. We needed a place to find ourselves again and to reset our lives. This was the perfect place! The home is absolutely high end beautiful, comfortable,relaxing with a lot of great activities.The home is in a small quiet private gated community. The river flows around the back of the home. During the day the rafters and kayakers pass by waving and having a great time. I suggest taking the trip down the river there are multiple outfitters close by and it's a real blast. In the evening while BBQ on the huge upper deck of the home. We watched a red tail hawk catch a trout right out of the river. It was amazing to see up close. There are several small towns close by to go exploring.I have been to a lot of places in my travels. I can sincerely tell you the people of North Carolina are just so nice and welcoming. We meet some really great people and some new friends during our trip. The homeowner was so wonderful and helpful with guiding us through all the actives that the area has to offer. This was one of the best trips of our lives. The home, The property, The surrounding areas, have everything you need for a great and truly memorable vacation. 5 stars ***** all the way!
