I think it's badly overrated. There is a lot of "nostalgia" points staying here - but the rooms are old, very boring. just functional - nothing beyond that. It is no doubt a great landing pad, but the pool is a miles walk away from most units, main dining same. The convenience store is the stand-out bonus here. Would stay again but just temper your enthusiasm.

The exterior of this hotel is appealing. You'll need to drive to get to breakfast. The bed and pillows aren't very comfortable. However, they do provide a coffee machine, microwave, and a spacious refrigerator.

Our experience at Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn was unfortunately below expectations. The walls were extremely thin—we could hear everything from the rooms next to us and even the floor below, which made it difficult to get any proper rest. Cleanliness was also an issue. We found hairs in both the sink and the bed, which was disappointing and made the room feel poorly maintained. Check-in was chaotic and disorganised, with long waits and little communication from staff. Breakfast the next morning felt equally hectic, overcrowded, and lacking in coordination. While the location near Bryce Canyon is convenient, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again based on this visit.

I arrived at 9:02 and the restaurant had just closed. They told me I could have the buffet for $30. It was picked over and unappealing. I offered $20 under the circumstances. They refused. My room was at the far end of the property making it impossible to walk to the jacuzzi which is why I booked the property.
