A hotel that doesn’t belong

City break for a birthday treat. Hotel was a great choice for transport links and was well kept and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The area it’s based in was grotty/dirty with homeless people and beggars in close proximity. Not the safest of feelings when not in hotel. 25 minute walk to central Brussels and landmark areas. Restaurants and bars limited in this area so no real alternative but to make walk. Prices in hotel for food/drinks much like Brussels as a whole, expensive.

This was the most conveniently located hotel hop on a quick train to Brussels Central, Ghent and Brugge. The staff was so phenomenal, kind, respectful, and just overall positive attitude I highly recommend staying here. There’s a grocery store and several shops within the station and several dining options outside of the station. In addition it was raining and we didn’t have to leave the train station. They had their own entrance within the station conveniently located right by Eurostar so you can hop on that to go to London or Paris which we did.

Great hotel but stay away from restaurant

Really nice room. Very clean. Restaurant experience was terrible - 3 of ordered steaks. We asked for 2 to be medium-well done and they were very pink and raw. Had to be sent back to the kitchen twice and still was not right. They did not charge us for 1 of the steaks but 2 should have been free as it disrupted our meal and it took us hours to eat.
