Paint Fumes, Fire alarms and limited ice.

Renovated our floor (3rd) recently and very nice. Problem was paint fumes are still lingering in the rooms and hallway. I’ve Machine still not connected and unable to call the front desk as phones aren’t working. Fire alarm went off for about a minute while I was down on the 1st floor looking for ice. Water not provided for pills in the breakfast room (suggested I use the water fountain (no thank you).

Hotel is under renovation, so the parking lot is occupied with storage containers. The elevator was dirty from the construction, including the buttons being covered in white, power dust (assuming from sheetrock workers). Room was average. Tub/shower was not very clean; soap scum ring are shown in photo. The bathroom door won't stay closed. We usually gap the bathroom door and leave the light so we can find out way in the dark, but the door would swing all the way open. And with the light on, the full length, hallway mirror reflected straight to the head of the bed. Tub dripped even when off. AC was noisy. We'd stay here again if we had to, but would not be out first choice.

LaQuinta Kingsland

Have stayed here 3 times this past year. Consistently good stay. Conveniently located off I95. Friendly staff, clean rooms and public areas. They are currently remodeling some rooms, but it did not interfere with our stay. Also pet friendly ($25 @ night)

The hotel is going through renovations which caused smoke alarms to go off overnight at 3 am multiple times. had zero staff or guidance water leak on third floor left mold and mildew smell throughout the 2nd floor. Property is not being maintained properly after the water leak

Fire alarm went off three times starting at 3am and had to go outside in the cold. No explanation, acknowledgement, apology, or compensation for this. Bathroom floor was sticky. The towels smelled like mildew. The appiances in the room worked and the breakfast was ok. I normally have good experiences at La Quinta but I would not stay at this one again.
