A great overnight stay before our camping trip. Very handy bottle shop next door! Great restaurant on site. Very helpful staff. Bus to Cable beach just round the side of the hotel. Great all round.

For older travelers, you need to be aware that some rooms are very far away from the reception and you will have to take the bags there yourself without any trolley. The doors are extremely heavy, heavy and hard to open, especially when juggling bags. We had to find a trolley ourselves to take bags. If you do not have wheels on your bags, it will be very difficult.

Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful layout of the property. Good restaurant with choice of indoors or outdoors. The pool is actually big enough to swim. Good location near beautiful Town Beach area. Walking distance of town centre. Room lacks a comfortable seat with good back support for prolonged sitting - although comfortable seats elsewhere on the property are available.

Great time at the Continental Hotel. Friendly welcoming staff clean and beautiful pool with recently renovated rooms. Restaurant was well priced and also allow food to be taken to rooms. Great location for walking to shops and brewery. Will certainly stay there again.

Only needed one night. Staff were helpful. The 'in house' restaurant bar served a few vegetarian options for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Food was served quickly and portion size was good. We did find the music from the restaurant a little off putting - having it inside and out meant there was no escape. The location is great; easy walk to either Town Beach and Chinatown. Our room was well appointed and comfortable - we had been upgraded to poolside. Would stay there again.
